Zala Springs Golf Resort is the latest Robert Trent Jones II golf course being built in Central Europe, opened in September, 2015. It is 200 km from Budapest.
The challenging 18 hole championship golf course has been designed around the resort properties, clubhouse, nature reserves and lakes guaranteeing a great game of golf with breathtaking views.
The par 72 course built with full USGA specifications, lush fairways and gently undulating greens will create a true test of golfing skills.
Lakes and streams come into play on various holes on the golf course while a variety of tees allow the course to be played at all levels.
The course measures 6500 meters from the championship tees.
The driving range consits of an 18 hole putting green, pitching green and practice bunker.
The main practice area has 12 covered bays for the winter season and a 70 open air and grass practice area.
The clubhouse consists of reception area, changing rooms, pro shop, tv room, cigar room, spike bar.
The lounge area also consists of a bistro restaurant. A unique feature will be the wine tasting center and cellar - a showcase for the industry with reserved vintages and unique opportunities for residents and members to acquire and store some of the finest wines of the country.
On the first floor a fine dining restaurant has been created also with the possibility to organize events in a private dining area.
