Conditions & General Information:
The conditions below form the basis of any contract between you and Golf Travel Hungary Ltd. (the Company). When you contact the Company to book the services, you appoint them to act as your agent to obtain the requested services for you. When they have done so, and you have confirmed the booking and paid the deposit, they will accept responsibility for providing your vacation from that point onwards.
We kindly require a deposit of 30% of the total amount as soon as your booking has been confirmed:
Payment by bank transfer - we will send you the invoice and our bank details and wiring instructions by email upon booking confirmation.
The outstanding 70% shall be paid 30 days prior to arrival by bank transfer.
As soon as the final invoice is settled we will then issue all relevant vouchers upon receipt of final payment or included in your welcome package on arrival.
The parties each undertake the banking costs arising at their own side.
In the event of a cancellation, written notice of your cancellation must be mailed or faxed to Golf Travel Hungary as soon as possible. If any trip is cancelled by the Company all deposits and payments will be refunded in full, otherwise cancellation charges will apply as follows to each traveller:
* more that 30 prior to your arrival: 75 % of the deposit will be refunded
* between 30 and 15 days prior to your arrival: 50 % of the whole package price will be refunded
* no refund in case of cancellation within 15 days prior to your arrival
There are No Refunds for unused portions of the confirmed tour. Golf Travel Hungary reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any client at any time for any reason.
All reservation costs are subject to change due to major currency fluctuation. The total price of the reservation is not guaranteed until payment has been received in full by Golf Travel Hungary.
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT INCLUDED IN ANY TOURS' PRICES:
Any expenses incurred prior to arrival
Gratuities to guide /driver
Gratuities in restaurants
Lunches not included unless highlighted
Golf carts and equipment
Gratuities to ghillies
All other items of a personal nature
Any expenses incurred following departure
Travel Protection Plan:
Golf Travel Hungary recommends that you have luggage, accident and trip cancellation insurance. The company is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness. It is important for your own self-interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate coverage. Check with your insurance company or travel agent.
Packages do not include airfare.
For EU citizens, a current Identity Card is required for travel to European destinations. Clients which come from other destinations or are not citizens of any member state of the EU, should check with the appropriate Embassy.
Golf Travel Hungary will follow the change policy of their contractors.
Golf Related Information
A number of golf clubs require visitors to show handicap cards. While this is not particularly common we strongly recommend you travel with a handicap card, and accept no responsibility if you do not and are subsequently denied golf. Certain clubs also place maximum handicap restrictions on visitors. If your handicap is greater than 36 (men and ladies) please notify us in order we can discuss which clubs may have relevant restrictions. The company accepts no responsibility for clients being refused golf if they do not meet these requirements. Also, please note that the company can accept no responsibility for the playing conditions of any golf courses, including changes caused by course maintenance or weather conditions.
Although the standard of the courses we have selected is generally excellent we are unable to always be aware of when course maintenance may be undertaken. Golf Travel Hungary can therefore not be held responsible for the condition of the golf courses during your tour.
Appropriate dress should be worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. Your travel details and welcome pack will advise the requirements at each course on your tour. Golf Travel Hungary accepts no responsibility if any of the group are refused access to the course or the clubhouse due to inappropriate attire.
If you have a complaint while on tour you should immediately notify the local supplier (hotel, golf course, car rental company or taxi company) and inform Golf Travel Hungary at the earliest opportunity. If the matter is not resolved full details must be forwarded in writing to our office within 28 days. If you do not act immediately and Golf Travel Hungary or our suppliers are left unaware of the problem it will not be possible for us to resolve your complaint and you effectively forfeit any claims against us.
Golf Travel Hungary, as the commercial agent, acts only as agent in securing and booking the hotel accommodations and services provided as others as independent contractors. The company assumes and accept no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, changes or inconvenience caused by: any force majeure - health risks - reason of war or threat of war - riots - civil strife - terrorist activity - industrial disputes - acts, omission, neglect, delay or default of any person engaged in providing any tour services including transportation and accommodation - technical problems to transport - closure or congestion of airports or ports - building work - extended hotel closure - cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines - interruption or failure of public utilities outside the control of the hotel and similar events beyond our control, including storms, tempests and hurricanes.
Golf Travel Hungary has contracted with independent contractors in securing and booking the services provided in their offers and is not responsible for any negligent act and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, servants or representatives.
If any booked service is not provided due to events beyond the reasonable control of Golf Travel Hungary, the Company will make an appropriate refund of that portion of the price covering the undelivered service, but it is understood that the company shall have no other or further responsibility or liability either for the accuracy of any representation or the non provision of any services.
The Company reserves the right to cancel an offer if circumstances so require. In the event of such, the Company will make a full refund to travellers of all payments received in respect of the offer. Such a refund of payments will be the full extent of the Company's obligation and liability to travellers. This Agreement shall be governed by the substantive laws of Hungary. The parties irrevocably agree that any judicial proceedings relating to this agreement will be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction within Budapest, Hungary.
